SCM To Acquire Farlep Invest.

The Ukrainian Anti-Monopoly Committee allowed SCM Limited to purchase more than 50% of the company Farlep Invest. Farlep Invest controls fixed line telecommunication operators working in eastern Ukraine. Currently the company is owned by The Industrial Union of Donbass (IUD). SCM Limited is subsidiary of the company SCM controlled by Rinat Akhmetov. Concorde Capital: The estimated value of a deal is USD 15 mln. If the deal is successful, SCM will increase the share of telecommunications in its business activity (SCM concentrates mainly in metallurgy, coal and electricity). Currently the company owns 49% of  the cellular operator Astelit.
