Soda Ash Exports Rise 82.1% YoY In May.

Soda ash exports reached 38K mt in May. In monetary terms, exports increased by 127.4% to USD 5.3 mln. Russia was the largest ash importer, accounting for 25.7% of the total export amount. Production increased by 29.7% yoy in May to 75.2K mt. The Krymsky Soda Plant (KSOD) is the largest producer of soda ash in the country, with an annual capacity of 800K mt.
