SPF receives six offers to privatize Ukrtelecom

State Property Fund Head Oleksandr Ryabchenko said yesterday that the SPF has received six applications to participate in the privatization auction of Ukrtelecom (UX: UTLM UK), Ukraine’s incumbent fixed-line telecom operator. The SPF set a starting price for the December 28 auction for the government’s 92.79% stake in the company at UAH 10.5 bln. Yegor Samusenko: We see Sistema and SCM as most the likely bidders.
