State Property Fund to sell Ukraine International Airlines for a minimum of 250 mln UAH

Yesterday SPF head Oleksandr Ryabchenko announced that the minimum acceptable price for a 61.58% share in Ukraine International Airlines is 250mln UAH. The first privatization tender will be held in December 2010.  The company owns 19 Boeing-737 aircraft and is based at Kyiv’s Boryspil international  airport. Passenger traffic dropped by 6% in 2009 against an overall 17% decrease in airline passenger traffic in Ukraine.
