Stirol increases sales 47% yoy in 2008

Stirol (STIR) increased its volume of sales to UAH 5.26 bln (USD 684 mln) in 2008, +47.2% yoy, according to Interfax. Ammonia sales rose 105.8% yoy to UAH 1.37 bln (USD 178 mln), ammonium nitrate by 47.6% to UAH 567 mln (USD 74 mln), and sulfuric acid by 461.1% to UAH 88 mln (USD 11 mln). In terms of production, the company made 1.2 mln mt of ammonia (down 0.7% yoy), 792 ths mt of urea (down 0.6% yoy), and 415 ths mt of granulated ammonium nitrate (down 14.2% yoy).
