Syria Eager To Buy 1 mln mt Of Cement From Ukraine.

Syria’s finance minister expressed his country’s willingness to buy cement from Ukraine at the Ukraine-Syrian business forum in Damask. Concorde Capital: If finalized, this deal would increase the capacity load at Ukraine’s cement plants from 61% in 2005 to 66% ceteris paribus. Ukraine posses over 15 cement plants with a total capacity of over 20 mln mt. Only a few Ukraine’s cement producers are actively working at or close to full capacity– Kramatorsk Cement “Pushka”, Kryvyy Rih Cement and Ivano-Frankivsk Cement.
