The Government Sells $2.3 mln In Local Bonds

The Finance Ministry successfully placed $2.3 mln two-year domestic bonds with a yield of 9%. The Finance Ministry also attempted to sell 3-year bonds but had no takers. So far this month the Finance Ministry has sold almost $24 mln in domestic bonds.
