The head of the Industrial Policy Minstry, Volodymyr Shandra, said the ministry plans to put this issue on the agenda of Turboatom’s (TATM) EGM later today. The State Property Fund, which is in the process of transferring Turboatom’s assets to Ministry of Industrial Policy (according to a government decree adopted on June 13 2006), is against this and has said no official changes to the agenda have been made. Concorde Capital: According to Ukrainian legislation, any decision on changes to an EGM’s agenda must be made at least 30 days before the EGM, and to be announced to shareholders not later than 10 days before the meeting. As The Ministry of Industrial Policy is now the company’s majority shareholder, we believe it will eventually manage to include TATM in the government’s energy machine-building holding as the key enterprise.
