Concorde Capital: The increase of the load for GenCos’ stems from the cold winter this year and deficit of changeable capacities in Ukraine: thermal power plants are the main suppliers of changeable capacities. The sharp increase of CEEN output is mainly due to its poor performance a year ago (for 4m05, 8.9% decrease yoy). The weak increase in DOEN’s output is connected to the 30% decrease of output at Slaviansk TPP in April (this power plant was closed for repairs on April 20).
