Turboatom delivers 2 hydroturbines to Uzbekistan, gets new Iran order

Turbatom (TATM) announced in a press release yesterday that it delivered two hydroturbines to Uzbekistan’s Shakhimardanskaya hydroelectric power plant. The volume of the contract was put at UAH 1.3 mln. In a separate announcement this morning, Turboatom said it inked an agreement with Iran’s Azar-Ab for two steam turbines for its Bisotun thermal power plant, with equipment delivery expected by June 2011.
