Turkish Brewer Efes Eyeing Ukrainian Market

The Turkish based brewer Efes announced yesterday that it was looking into the possibility of expanding into Ukraine and Belarus. Efes which controls more than 80% of the Turkish beer market also has a strong presence in Russian and saw its Russian sales grow by roughly 44% yoy in 2006.
