Ukraine Cabinet orders UAH 11.6 bln equity increase for Oschadbank

The Ukrainian government ordered an increase in the share capital of Oschadbank by UAH 11.598 bln via the contribution of government bonds into the bank’s capital, according to Cabinet of Ministers resolution on Nov. 19 and made public on Nov. 24. The bonds to be contributed will have a 6% coupon rate and will mature in ten years. Recall, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced on Nov. 19 that the government would increase Oschadbank’s equity by UAH 11 bln.
