Ukraine may receive the 2nd tranche of the IMF loan in mid-May

Yesterday,Alexander Shlapak, deputy head of the Presidential Secretariat, said that he expects that Ukraine may receive the second tranche (USD 1.85 bln) of the IMF standby loan in mid-May. The announcement was made following the meeting betweenthe IMF, the World Bank, the NBU, President Viktor Yushchenko,Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, and Head of the parliament Volodymyr Lytvyn.
