Deputy Minister of Fuel and Energy Aleksey Sheberstov said that exports will begin only after the government examines Ukraine’s electricity consumption forecast for 4Q06 and 2007. The review is scheduled to take place Nov. 3. The transmission of electricity to Russia was set to begin on Nov. 1, according to an agreement between Ukrainian electricity exporter Ukrinterenergo and Inter-RAO UES signed on Oct. 25.
