Ukraine remains world's #8 largest producer of steel in 2008

According to the World Steel Association, Ukraine retained the title of world’s #8 largest steel producer in 2008, with production of 37.1 mln mt (down 13.4% yoy). The first seven countries, in order, are China, Japan, USA, Russia, India, South Korea and Germany.
