Ukraine's grain exports amount to 2.2 mln mt in April

Ukraine has exported 2.2 mln mt of grain in April, according to the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation (via Interfax). The exports include 1.2 mln mt of wheat and 0.75 mln mt of corn. So far for the marketing year (July 2008-June 2009), Ukraine has exported 21 mln mt of grain, including 10.8 mln mt of wheat, 5.8 mln mt of barley and 4.2 mln mt of corn. The Ministry of Agricultural Policy has said it expected Ukraine to export 25 mln mt of grain this marketing year.
