Ukraine’s Public Debt Grows 1.1% YTD in 1Q08

Ukraine’s total public debt rose 1.1% YTD to USD 17.8 bln in January-March 2008, according to the Ministry of Finance. March’s decrease comprised 0.4% or USD 64 mln mom. External public debt rose 1.9% YTD to USD 14.1 bln in 4M08, while domestic debt declined 1.8% to USD 3.7 bln.
