Ukrainian agricultural producers sow 6.3 mln ha with spring crops

Ukrainian agricultural producers have sowed 6.29 mln ha of land with spring crops as of May 5, Ukrainian News reported this morning according to data from the Ministry of Agricultural Policy. The area planted so far corresponds to 84% of the planned target. The breakdown by crop is: 4.7 mln ha of grains, 3.6 mln ha of barley, 1.5 mln ha of corn, 444 ths ha of oats, 335 ths ha of wheat, and 274 ths ha of peas.
