Ukrainian Banks Increase Profits 2.2 Times in 4M07

The aggregated net profit of Ukrainian banks in 4M07 was 2.2 times more than the same period last year (USD 455 mln), according to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU). In 4M07 banks revenues increased to USD 3.54 bln (+57% yoy), interest yield was reported at USD 2.65 bln and commission revenues at USD 0.65 bln. Over the same period, aggregated expenditures for banks grew 50.3% yoy to USD 3.1 bln.
