Ukrainian production of cars (passenger and commercial) and buses grew by 48% y-o-y in 8M11 to 67,127 units, Interfax reported yesterday, citing Ukravtoprom. Output of passenger cars increased by 57% y-o-y, buses – by 24% y-o-y, but commercial cars were down by 38% y-o-y. The top-3 leaders in 8M11 were: ZAZ (affiliated with UkrAvto (UX: AVTO UK, N/R)), Bogdan Corporation (owner of Bogdan Motors (UX: LUAZ UK, U/R) and Eurocar, which produced 59%, 21% and 9% of total output respectively.
