Ukrainian Stock Exchange launches UX Index

Yesterday Ukrainian Stock Exchange announced that it launched UX Index, the bourse’s benchmark equity index. The index includes shares of ten companies: Alchevsk Iron & Steel (ALMK), Azovstal (AZST), Raiffeisen Bank Aval (BAVL), Centrenergo (CEEN), Enakievo Steel (ENMZ), Motor Sich (MSICH), Ukrnafta (UNAF), Ukrsotsbank (USCB), Ukrtelecom (UTLM), Zakhidenergo (ZAEN). In related news, Ukraine’s largest stock exchange PFTS announced yesterday that it would launch PFTS NEXT trading system, which will allow internet-trading. Ukrainian Stock Exchange started a similar system a month ago.
