Ukreximbank ups net income 24% yoy in 2008

Ukreximbank, Ukraine’s state-controlled export-import bank, yesterday announced its 2008 financial results: net income of UAH 622.1 mln, up 24% yoy; assets of UAH 48.3 bln, up 69% yoy; loan portfolio of UAH 38.3 bln, up 71.5% yoy; and equity of UAH 3.1 bln, up 2.1x yoy. Ukreximbank was Ukraine’s #5 largest bank by assets as of Oct. 1, 2008, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
