Ukrgaz-Energo Is Born?

Naftogaz Ukrainy and the RosUkrEnergo have created a closed JSC Ukrgaz-Energo to deliver natural gas to Ukrainian consumers. Naftogaz and RosUkrenergo each control 50% of the new company. Gazprom’s Deputy Chairman Aleksandr Ryazanov will serve as the chairman of Ukrgaz-Energo. The statutory capital of the joint venture is UAH 5 mln. According to the statutory documents, Ukraine’s gas transportation system, including underground gas storage facilities, can not be contributed to the JV for use, management or ownership. Concorde Capital: The deal was settled faster than most expected however, the details of the statutory documents founding Ukrgaz-Energo and the structure of its board are still quite opaque.
