Ukrlandfarming acquires Rise and Dakor Agro Holding

Ukrlandfarming, owned by Avangard (LSE: AVGR LI) majority shareholder Oleg Bakhmatyuk, acquired controlling stakes in agricultural companies Rise and Dakor Agro Holding (Dakor West (UX: DAKOR UK) and Landwest (4K1A: GR)), Kommersant reported today, citing industry sources. The two entities are to be merged into Ukrlandfarming. The transaction boosts Ukrlandfarming’s acreage from 150 ths ha to 436 ths ha, making it the largest landholder in Ukraine. Further details of the transactions were not disclosed.
