The largest Ukrainian Mobile Operator, UMC announced that its virtual operator JEANS will be treated like a native UMC brand (like SIM-SIM and UMC). Before that, JEANS was treated as a separate mobile operator, which meant higher tariffs for calls between customers of UMC and JEANS. Now, calls between all the UMC-related brands will be cheaper. Concorde Capital: Following this ?merger? 4.5 mln JEANS subscribers will no longer be isolated from the 5.5 mln UMC subscribers. While UMC revenues from calls between UMC and JEANS will fall, we expect an increase in the attractiveness of all UMC brands for potential customers.
