UMH receives control of Odesa’s Gorpress shareholder

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine allowed La Coruna Enterprises (Cyprus), a subsidiary of United Media Holding (FSE: A65 GR), to take control of Nash Uchastnyk (Ukraine), the 50% owner of the Odesa-based newspaper kiosk chain Gorpress, according to Interfax on Friday. Gorpress will be absorbed into UMH’s retail network. Gorpress operates almost 200 PoS, Interfax said.
