Vinnifruit Completes Private Placement of 24% Stake

Vinnifruit, a large Ukrainian juice producer, placed a 24% stake through a private placement to Goldman Sachs and East Capital. According to news reports, the deal was valued at USD 15 mln, implying an MCap of USD 62.5 mln. The Bank of New York issued GDRs for Vinnifruit on June 8. In 2006 the company posted USD 26.2 mln in net revenues and USD 0.8 mln net loss. The deal implies EV/Sales of 3.2.
