Western Milk Group & Halychyna to merge

Daily Delo reported yesterday that Western Milk Group and Halychyna plan to merge in order to optimize production and marketing efforts, citing a Halychyna director. The companies submitted a request for approval of the transaction to Ukraine’s Antimonopoly Committee. Western Milk Group is the holding for Continuum Group’s dairy industry assets, which include traded Kovelmoloko (PFTS: KMOL UZ), Lviv City Dairy Plant, Vinnitsya City Dairy Plant, Dubnomoloko and more. Halychyna’s main production facility is the Radekhovskoho Dairy Plant.
