Yuschenko Approves Increase Of 2005 Budget Expenditures.

29 December 2008

President Viktor Yuschenko approved amendments to the 2005 State Budget that will increase budget expenditures and the deficit by USD 0.3 bln to USD 23 bln and USD 2.2 bln respectively. The enlargement of expenditures will be financed by funds obtained from the sale of Kryvorizhstal (KSTL: BUY). Concorde Capital: The budget amendments together with expected lower nominal GDP (USD 82.4 bln versus initial estimates of USD 86.1 bln) will cause the budget deficit to amount to 2.7% of GDP above our earlier estimation of 2.2%.
