Zaporizhyaoblenergo and Kharkivoblenergo Increase Profit in 2007

Electricity distribution companies Zaporizhyaoblenergo (ZAON: SELL) and Kharkivoblenergo (HAON: HOLD) reported increasing their bottom lines over 2007. The preliminary 2007 net income of Zaporizhyaoblenergo is USD 3.9 mln (vs. USD 1.2 losses in 2006); Kharkivoblenergo raised its net income by 17% yoy to USD 3.2 mln. No other P&L details were disclosed by the companies.
