Sweden’s Alpcot Agro buys Polish Duda’s assets in Ukraine

Alpcot Agro (Sweden) purchased a production facility controlled by Duda (Poland) for less than USD 3.5 mln, Kommersant reported this morning. As part of the deal, Alpcot Agro will take over a 50 ths mt capacity grain storage facility (currently under construction), equipment and rights to the property. As of December 31, 2009, Alpcot Agro controlled 7.4 ths ha of land in Ukraine, mostly in Western Ukraine.
