Electricity Tariffs For Non-Residential Consumers To Be The Same For All Regions.

Electricity Tariffs For Non-Residential Consumers To Be The Same For All Regions.

1 September 2008

The National Energy Regulation Commission (NERC) announced that starting September 1, 2005 all retail tariffs for non-residential consumers will begin to be standardized. The monthly change in the electricity tariffs will not exceed 5%. Concorde Capital: There are two groups of non-residential consumers: high-voltage consumers and low-voltage consumers. Tariffs for these groups were set individually by each regional distribution company. However, by June 2006, all tariffs for both groups will be equal in all the regions. This will mean an increase in electricity tariffs for industrial consumers in Kiev, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya and Dniopropetrovsk regions. In all the other regions, electricity tariffs will drop.
