Donetsk court cancels ban on trading in YASK, SHCHZ

Donetsk court cancels ban on trading in YASK, SHCHZ

5 September 2011

The Donetsk Regional Administrative Court cancelled an order by Ukraine’s Securities & Exchange Commission from May 20 that banned trading in shares of companies majority owned by the Donetskstal business group. The ban affected Yasynivsky Coke (UX: YASK UK, N/R) and Shakhtoupravlenie Pokrovskoye mine (UX: SHCHZ UK, N/R). Donetskstal won a previous case on June 21 with the Donetsk Regional Administrative Court that allowed for trading to resume in shares of Donetskstal itself; the Ukrainian SEC did not appeal that ruling.
