RosUkrEnergo Might Increase Gas Supplies to 62 bcm in 2007

30 October 2008

The key addition to the contract between RosUkrEnergo and UkrGaz-Energo is for the delivery of up to 62 bcm without any additional conditions for RosUkrEnergo or Gazprom, said company representative Igor Voronin. RosUkrEnergo guaranteed the supply of a minimum volume of 55 bcm of gas. The gas Ukrgaz-Energo receives will be sold in Ukraine and not re-exported. As reported last week, on Oct. 24 an addendum to the agreement for gas supplies for 2006-2010 was signed by RosUkrEnergo and Ukrgaz-Energo detailing the volume and price of gas for the next year. The price of gas to Ukraine was set at USD 130/tcm for 2007.
