Two bidders to compete in today’s tender for Donbasenergo stake

Two bidders to compete in today’s tender for Donbasenergo stake

20 August 2013

The State Property Fund of Ukraine registered two companies for the August 20 tender to privatize a 60.8% stake in Donbasenergo (DOEN UK), according to the fund’s press release from yesterday. The first bidder is TechNova, an operator of three small combined heat and power stations in northern Ukraine. The other bidder is Energoinvest Holding, a company emerged just two months ago and which is possibly related to Krasnolimanske Mine (which qualifies for the Donbasenergo tender due to a sufficient level of coal mining). The official owners of these enterprises are unknown.
