Yushchenko prolongs fixed agricultural tax until 2011

President Yushchenko extended the law on the fixed agricultural tax from December 31, 2009 to January 1, 2011, according to the Presidential press office. The new law preserves landowners VAT privileges. Since 1999, landowners have the right not to pay certain state and local taxes, reducing their overall tax burden by about USD 34 mln every year.
