Retail trade grows 30.2% yoy in 5M08

Ukrainian retail trade rose 30.2% yoy in real terms to UAH 162.3 bln (USD 33.5 bln) in 5M08, making a new historical high for the second month in the row, the State Statistics Committee reported yesterday. Trade contributed 2% to real GDP growth of 6.4% yoy in 5M08.
