Ukrgazbank Ђ™s Bottom Line Rises Threefold in 1Q08

Ukrgazbank (UGZB: U/R) posted 1Q08 net income of USD 5.7 mln, threefold higher than the same period of 2007, according to a bank press-release. Ukrgazbank increased net assets by 2.4x yoy to USD 2.2 bln in 1Q08. The bank’s loan portfolio doubled yoy to USD 1.1 bln, with retail loans increasing by 150% yoy to USD 344 mln. Ukrgazbank’s equity rose by 97% yoy to reach USD 188 mln.
